Making a custom photo book in India has never been easier — but first-time buyers often have questions: How do I choose photos? How long does it take? What happens after I upload? This step-by-step guide walks you through the entire process from start to delivery.
Before You Start: What You Need
- 40–80 photos in JPEG or PNG format (higher resolution is better)
- A rough idea of what story you want the album to tell
- Optional: short captions (location, date, or a one-line memory) for each photo
- A payment method for Razorpay (UPI, credit/debit card, net banking, or wallet)
Step 1: Choose Your Travel Style
Visit TRIPPAL's style selector and browse the five album themes:
- Classic Journal: Warm, narrative, timeless — best for long trips and family travel
- Minimal Aesthetic: Clean and modern — best for solo travel and architecture
- Retro Travel: Vintage film aesthetic — best for road trips and heritage destinations
- Luxury Editorial: Magazine-quality — best for honeymoons and luxury travel
- Fun & Vibrant: Bold and energetic — best for friends trips and beach holidays

Step 2: Configure Your Album
In the configurator, you will choose:
- Number of pages: Base is 14 pages, from ₹2,299 with 18% GST already included. Pages are added 2 at a time, and each 2-page spread adds a flat amount that depends on the size and binding — the live figure for every combination is at trippal.in/pricing.
- Binding: Hardbound Classic (from ₹2,299) or Layflat Premium (from ₹2,799), both GST-inclusive. Softcover has been discontinued.

Step 3: Upload Your Photos
Upload your photos directly in the browser, or share them via Google Drive link or WhatsApp. Our team accepts JPG, PNG, and HEIC files at original quality — do not compress your photos before uploading.
You can upload photos in any order — include a caption note for specific photos you want on specific pages, and our designers will follow your brief.
Step 4: Pay Securely
After reviewing your order summary, pay 30% advance securely using UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, or wallets. Our team receives instant confirmation and begins work on your album within 24 hours. The remaining 70% is collected only after you approve your PDF preview.
Step 5: Receive Your PDF Preview
Within 2–3 working days, our design team will send you a full PDF preview of every page in your album. This is your opportunity to review the layout, request changes, adjust captions, or swap photos. Three revision rounds are included — share all your changes in one submission; additional rounds are ₹350 each. We only send to print when you approve.
Step 6: Approve and Receive Your Album
Once you approve the preview, your album enters our print queue. Printing and dispatch take 2–3 working days, followed by 5–7 days of delivery via a tracked courier anywhere in India. Saturday and Sunday are not counted as working days for design, printing, and dispatch.
